Before confirming the purchase, the Customer must carefully read these general conditions of sale. The confirmation of the order implies the full knowledge and express acceptance of the conditions of the aforementioned terms and conditions. 2. Object


2.1The object of the current Terms and conditions is the online sale of products through the e-commerce service on the website

2.2The products sold on the site can be purchased and delivered exclusively in the countries indicated on the site. Any orders for shipments to be made outside these countries will be automatically rejected during the order processing procedure.

3. The Contract


3.1The purchase procedure is guided and explained in each phase to allow you to check and modify any errors whenever necessary before finalizing the order. We, therefore, ask you to pay attention to the various stages of the purchase procedure.

3.2Upon completion of the order, you will receive a confirmation email, which, however, must not be considered as acceptance of the order. The latter will take place in the manner indicated in clause 3.3 below.

3.3The acceptance of the order by Chitè will take place when we will send you the shipping confirmation. This latter notification implies that the contract between you and Chitè will be considered concluded.

3.4In the event that your order is not accepted, Chitè will inform you in writing and will return the sum paid for the purchase. The lack of acceptance may depend on the lack of stock of the product, as a consequence of sudden and non-preventable reductions of the available resources, from the identification of an error in the price or in the product description or from the impossibility for Chitè to respect the delivery date indicated at the time order. In any case, Chitè reserves the right not to accept an order for any reason.

3.5An identification number will be assigned to your order, which will be communicated to you upon acceptance of the order. This will allow us to assist you whenever you contact us with reference to the order.

3.6The procedure through the Home Try service includes some specific conditions. Chitè offers the possibility for its customers to order up to a maximum of 6 items with the Home Try option. This service provides for free delivery of products to the customer, the customer has up to 6 days to make a decision about which items to keep and which to return. The amount of the order is not collected during the check-out phase, in fact, it uses a simple pre-authorization procedure. Once the garments that the customer wants to purchase are defined, through confirmation in the Home Try section on the website, the payment procedure will be carried out and the sum for the selected products will be taken. At the end of the sixth day all items not returned, or without the return procedure initiated, will be considered purchased; Chitè will then proceed with confirming the withdrawal of the amount of the order.
Chitè guarantees the correct hygienic conditions in the management of this service: all the products are equipped with hygienic protections and will be subjected to sanitation whenever they are returned.

3.7The products are sold to the Customer identified by the data entered when completing and sending the order form in electronic format with simultaneous acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Chitè asks the customer to enter the necessary data for the purchase, such as name, surname, billing address, shipping address, e-mail address and telephone number.

3.8The sale of products on the website is aimed at adult customers. If you are under 18 you must first have the consent of one of your parents or a legal guardian to be able to purchase on the site. By placing an order through this website, we guarantee that you are over 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

3.9The Customer is forbidden to enter false names, and/or invented in the online ordering procedure and in further communications. The Seller reserves the right to prosecute any violation or abuse, in the interest and for the protection of all consumers.

3.1By accepting these Terms and Conditions, moreover, you exonerate the Seller from any liability arising from the issuance of incorrect tax documents due to errors related to the data provided by you when placing the online order, being you, as a customer, the only responsible for their correct insertion.

4. The Products


4.1The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although Chitè constantly adopts measures to ensure that the photographs shown on the Website are faithful reproductions of the original products, including the adoption of every possible technological solution to minimize inaccuracies, some variations are always possible due to the technical characteristics and color resolution features of the computer you are using. As a consequence, the Seller will not be responsible for the possible inadequacy of the graphic representations of products shown on the Site if due to the aforementioned technical reasons, since such representations are merely illustrative.

4.2The packaging of the products may be different from those shown on the Website.

4. Sales prices


5.1All prices of products and shipping costs indicated on the website, as well as those listed in the order confirmation are to be considered VAT included for the European Union and taxes and duties included for any purchase in the US unless otherwise stated in writing. The validity of the indicated prices is always and only the one indicated by the website at the time of purchase and relative confirmation of the order. Product prices and shipping and delivery costs may vary without notice. It is, therefore, necessary to ascertain the final sale price before submitting the relevant Order.

5.2All orders are shipped directly from Italy. The prices of the Products and shipping costs indicated on the website and in the order, unless otherwise specified, are to be considered not inclusive of any costs related to customs duties and related taxes, not previously calculable, if the shipment takes place in extra-UE countries or in countries where the current legislation provides for import charges.

5.3These costs are therefore charged to the customer and must be paid directly upon delivery of the products.

6. Changes to the order


6.1In the event that you wish to modify an order already processed, we ask you to contact us at or alternatively at We will let you know if it is possible to make a change; in this case, we will inform you about any changes to the price of the products, delivery times or anything else necessary as a result of the change requested. We will also ask you to confirm whether you wish to proceed or not.

7. Methods of payment


On you can pay in total security with any credit card, via Paypal, Scalapay.
You can conveniently use credit cards, prepaid cards or bank accounts thanks to the methods offered.

7.1Credit cards and prepaid cards.

7.1.1Chitè accepts both credit card and prepaid card payments without any additional charge on the cost of the product and shipping. It is clearly necessary that the customer must own a valid credit card when placing an order online and that the name on the credit card must be the same indicated on the billing information. In the absence of such assumptions, it will not be possible to proceed with the order.

7.1.2If, after receiving the ordered products, for any reason, you wish to use the Right of withdrawal, the Seller will instruct the bank to refund the amount directly on your credit card.


7.2.1Chitè offers customers who have a Paypal account the possibility to make payments using email and password with which they are registered on Paypal allows payment by credit cards, prepaid cards or through a bank account.

7.2.2When checking-out and completing the purchase, the bank will only proceed with an authorization of the related amount from the availability of your credit card. The amount will actually be charged to your credit card only when the purchased products are shipped.

7.3Home Try Service (only if available for your country)

7.3.1The Home Try service offered by Chitè simply requires the customer to carry out the traditional purchase procedure up to the check-out. The customer must select the option of the Home Try option and enter the data of a valid credit card. The Home Try service does not provide for the payment of products until confirmation, which the customer must make within the sixth day of the order. The bank will only carry out a pre-authorization of the total value of the items ordered through the Home Try option to ensure the availability in the credit card. The amount will actually be charged to your credit card only upon confirmation of the products that the customer wants to keep. In the event that the customer does confirm its choice within the 6th day, the items will be considered purchased and the total amount of the order will be taken from the credit card.

7.4At no time during the purchase process Chitè is able to know the information related to your credit card (for example, the credit card number or the date of its expiration), transmitted via a secure connection by encrypted protocol directly to the site of the institute who manages the electronic payment (bank or Paypal). No computerized archive of the Seller will keep such data.

7.5In no case may the Seller be held responsible for any fraudulent and improper use of credit cards and prepaid cards by third parties.

8. Shipping


8.1Each shipment contains:

  • i / the products / o ordered / o;
  • the relative transport/invoice document;
  • any accompanying documentation required according to the country of dispatch;
  • any information and marketing material;

8.2Shipping in Italy
Shipping is handled by express courier, or in rare cases through the National Post service.
Shipping is free throughout Italy from 99€, including islands and limited traffic areas. The products are delivered within 1/4 working days in the Italian territory.
The products for which embroidery customization has been requested require 48 hours on extra working days for processing and the Custom size products max 20 working days to ship.

8.3Shipments abroad
The countries in which Chité ships are currently all those belonging to the European territory and the United States and Canada. Shipping is handled by express courier, or via the National Post service.

Europe: Standard shipping cost € 8.90, with delivery in 4/9 working days. At checkout you can choose Express service at a cost of € 20 for a delivery between 2/6 working days. Shipping is free for orders over € 99.

Rest of Europe: Standard shipping cost € 9.90, with delivery in at least 10 working days. At checkout you can choose Express service at a cost of € 20 for a delivery in 4 days. Shipping is free for orders over € 100.

Switzerland: Standard shipping cost € 4.90 provides for delivery in 4/9 working days. At checkout you can choose Express service at a cost of € 20. The package will be delivered in 2-6 business days. Shipping is free for orders over € 99.

UK: Standard shipping cost € 8.90 provides for delivery in 4/9 working days. At checkout you can choose Express service at a cost of € 20. The package will be delivered in 2-6 business days. Shipping is free for orders over € 157.

USA: Standard shipping cost € 8.85 provides for delivery in at least 10 working days. At checkout you can choose Express service at a cost of € 20. The package will be delivered in 2-6 business days. 

Rest of the World: Standard shipping cost € 20. The package will be delivered in at least 15 working days. At checkout you can choose Express service at a cost of € 50 to receive the package up to 7 working days. Shipping is 8,85 € for orders over € 150.

Please note well: products ordered with custom embroidery require 48 hours in addition to working days for shipping. All made-to-measure lingerie pieces ordered via MyChitè platform require 20 working days for processing.

8.4Taxes and import duties
Any additional taxes or customs duties applied for international shipments are charged to the customer. We currently ship from Milan, Italy. As for shipments to the United States, any taxes and duties are included for orders up to € 800.

9. Your right to terminate a contract


9.1Only if the Customer who signs the contract is a Consumer (meaning any physical person using the website for purposes unrelated to any business or professional activity), he will have the right to withdraw from the contract concluded with the Seller, without any penalty and without specifying the reason, communicating it to the Seller within fourteen (14) days, starting from the day on which the Customer or a third party, designated by the Customer and different from the Carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods. The term is considered respected if the Customer sends back the goods before the expiry of the 14-day period. The right of withdrawal may not be applied in case of customized products (following a client's request specified when confirming the online order), according to the current legislation.

9.2Should the conditions of clause 9.1 apply, the customer may terminate his contract with Chitè. Your rights at the time of the conclusion of the contract will depend on the products purchased, any defects reported by them, the manner in which Chitè is executing the contract and the moment the resolution is exercised:

9.2.1If what you have purchased is defective or incorrectly described, you may be entitled to terminate the contract (or to repair or replace the product, or to reimburse part or the full amount of money spent);

9.2.2If you wish to terminate the contract for reasons relating to Chitè's behavior, please refer to Clause 9.3;

9.2.3If you have changed your mind about the product, please refer to clause 9.3. If you exercise the right within a certain period of time, you can obtain a refund of the amount paid, however the same could be subject to deductions and will be charged to you once you return the goods.

9.3If you terminate the contract for a reason set out in paragraphs 9.3.1 to 9.3.5, the contract will be considered terminated immediately and we will fully refund the cost of products that have not been provided, together with any compensation. In particular, this will take place if you have received a communication regarding:

9.3.1An imminent change to the product or to these Terms, which you do not intend to accept;

9.3.2An error in the price or in the description of the product ordered and you do not wish to proceed with the purchase anyway;

9.3.3The possibility that the delivery of products may be significantly delayed due to events beyond our control;

9.3.4The suspension of the supply of products for technical reasons or the notification by us of the imminent suspension of the same for technical reasons, in any case for a period exceeding 30 days; or

9.3.5Serious breach by Chitè.

10. Returns and Changes


10.1Chitè guarantees the quality of the products sold in its online store, however, if, for any reason, you wish to return your order or a part of it, we will be happy to accept the return within 30 days from the delivery date.
Our return/exchange policy implies compliance with certain conditions:

  • The product must be intact and not used
  • The tag must still be attached to the garment
  • The product must not be damaged
  • The return of items for which customizations, tailoring changes or the application of their initials have been requested cannot be accepted.

In order to respect the hygienic conditions, knickers that have been worn in direct contact with the skin are not accepted.
Chitè, therefore, reserves the right to refuse returns of products that do not comply with the conditions.

o The Consumer Rights Act 2015 establishes that the products must correspond to the relevant description, be suitable for the purposes for which they are intended and be of satisfactory quality. Throughout the expected life of the product you will be entitled:
o Up to 30 days: if the item is defective, to obtain a full refund;
o Up to six months: if the item is defective and can not be repaired or replaced, to obtain a full refund, in most cases;
o Up to six years: if the item can last up to six years, it may be entitled to a repair or a replacement or, in the event that it is not possible, it could get a refund of part of the purchase price.
Furthermore, the foregoing provisions with respect to the rights listed above, established by the legislation of your State of residence, are reserved. With reference to Italy, see the Legislative Decree 06/09/2005 No. 206 (Consumer Code) and subsequent amendments.

16. Applicable law, settlement of disputes and jurisdiction


16.1These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law and will be interpreted according to it, without prejudice to any other prevailing mandatory rule of the country of habitual residence of the Customer. Consequently, the interpretation, execution and termination of the Terms and Conditions are subject exclusively to Italian law (without prejudice to any other prevailing mandatory rule of the country of habitual residence of the customer) and any disputes concerning and/or consequent to them must be resolved exclusively by the Italian judicial authority, as better specified below. In particular, if the Customer holds the status of Consumer, any disputes must be resolved by the court of the place of residence or residence of the same according to the applicable law or, at the consumer's choice in case of action taken by the consumer, by the Court of Turin. 17. Change and update


17.1The Seller may make changes or amendments to these Terms and Conditions at any time. Therefore, the Customer will only be required to accept the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of its purchase. The new Terms and Conditions will be effective from the date of publication on the website and in relation to purchasing orders submitted after that date.
